Hearts?

So, does anyone around here like playing Hearts? I sure do! It's one of my favourite games.

I was taught to play that game about five years ago when I was in high school... it's a fun game. Me and my teacher sat around and played it at the end of the day. I can't remember how to play it though. Oh well, much memories are lost in the sands of time....

It's a great game to play with four people. Also, I think it's like on every version of Windows, so one can get some good practice in there.
(Not sure if Apple computers have any card games that come with them).

I am an absolute Spades junkie, so when I try to play hearts I stink it up because the strategy is almost exactly the opposite.

Yep, Spades is really fun, and also the opposite. You would definitely like Whist then.

It's a trick taking game but there's no bidding in advance. Instead you work with a partner to get 7 tricks; this, in turn, gives you a point. Here is a rundown (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whist#Whist_rules).
It's an awesome game.
