I heard a rumor that they were going to remake Pet Semetery again into a movie? True?

I haven't heard anything but I think it would be a tough one, with the original being such a well-made classic.

I honestly hope so. While the original was decent, it was far from a classic, in my opinion. Perhaps I'm simply not much of an old school kinda guy, but I hope a remake is in the works.

I guess King adapted the screenplay to the first Pet Semetery back then, so if they do a remake I doubt he will be involved again. I agree that the first one is a good classic, and is still scary even to do this day. I also like it because it's one of those "what would you have done?" style films like Night of the Living Dead (another classic by the way!!).

It shouldn't be remade unless it has the Wendigo and the Pet Sematary song by the Ramones.:smile2:

Various websites have hinted towards a remake for Pet Sematary, though nothing has recently been released. It is rumored that George Clooney is to play Louis (maybe because he was a doctor in ER?) Johnny, why wouldn't they include the Wendigo in the remake? The Wendigo spirit is a major theme in the story. I would rather here "Blitzkrieg Bop" by the Ramones since "Hey Ho, Let's Go" is mentioned several times in the story, but that's just my opinion.:eyebrow: What do you think?
