Ok.....so JJ's out on making the films.

Got it, respect it, it's a shame but what can you do??

What do you fans think about Marvel picking up the ball and making an animated series?? No talk of this happening at all - not starting any rumours here, just throwing the idea out there and seeing what you guys think.

GAWD BOMB!

I don't want marvel to do cause I dont like the DTcomics very much...
I think Gendy Tarkovsky would do an AWESOME DTseries, he's responsible for Samurai Jack

Hi,

I'd like to see a live action movie of the Dark Tower novels AND an animated series of the Marvel comic arcs, but not coming out until the live action Wizard and Glass had been shown.

And I think the Marvel team Lee and Isanove etc, and especially Robin Furth, have done a marvellous job.

Long days and pleasant nights

I'm not sure I want it adapted for the screen but if they did I'd prefer a series of some kind rather than a film. It would fit the amount of material better.

Animation could be a way to go, although I think a live action series would be better.

I'm a big fan of the graphic novels and think it's done wonderful.
It's a great way to introduce new readers to Stephen King and The Dark Tower (and Talisman for that matter) and for his constant readers to enjoy his work in yet another format.

Gendy Tarkovsky also did the first animated shorts of "The Clone Wars" that showed on Cartoon Network (not the current computer CG full length episodes that they have now). These were little 5 minute episodes and in my opinion they were the best thing to come from the Star Wars franchise since the original 3 films. He would be very capable of doing it and doing it right.
