Though I don't like the film DREAMCATCHER, I enjoyed Olyphant's performance. Of course, I've liked him in everything I've seen of his work.

I do like the novel, though.

However, Morgan Freeman was a flop. I didn't care for him.

...Morgan Freeman was a flop. I didn't care for him.Well, he's no Marlon Brando, that's for sure.

Do we have to comment on Timothy Olyphant, or is any general discussion
of the performances ok for this thread?
I'd like to say that I thought Donnie Wahlberg's was an impressive surprise.

Fire away with any comments you'd like! :smile2:

And I'll agree about Wahlberg. He's another that I constantly like (even though I like Marky Mark better).

I like Morgan Freeman, but he was obviously miscast in this movie. Stephen King basically cast out the movie in book, so you had idea of the what the characters were supposed to be like. I think he listed James Woods for Kurtz.

I think Olyphant was fantastic in this movie, and I really liked how Jonsey was portrayed as well.
