Anyone know if there is any plans to reissue the unabridged audiobook for The Regulators, on CD preferably? To my knowledge, it only ever got a tape release, not CD, Frank Muller narrated. The current CD versions around the world are all abridged.

Well, I made my own. I got it on tape, and converted it to m4b audiobook format using various tools. It cleaned up pretty nicely with Audacity - the noise reduction on it worked really well, took out all the tape hiss without devastating the dynamic range of the sound. I ended up turning dolby NR off on the tape deck and just doing the noise reduction in Audacity - it was much better. I am pretty pleased with the result. I haven't played it yet, just listened to bits where I cut etc (eg, taking out the start of side and end of side markers). It ends up at 12h.
I'll be listening to it once I finished the current book I'm listening to.
I ended up with two of the tape sets...

You can borrow a copy from netlibrary.com, however you have to have a library card from a member library.
