You know, the place where they usually have a brief teaser on inside front cover and the author bio on the inside right?
Mine are blank. I wonder if that's intentional.

Mine were blank also but it added to the book in my opinion.

Mine's blank too. I hadn't noticed till you mentioned it, but it must be intentional.

good point. Assuming it is intentional I wonder why?:eek2:

Obviously intentional, since that would have been a major blunder if not and would have been corrected at some point. And lets just hope it wasn't or those of us that are collectors are going to have to have more shelf space taken up by the new DJ's. :)
Why? Well it could have been due to the artwork on the DJ.
Any input to this Ms. Mod?

I'd have to confirm but I also think it's because they didn't want to mar the cover. If you unfold it, you have the full illustration.

Oh gosh, now that I look again it looks like I got a special hand written note too, hang on.... it looks as though Stephen King's jotted down his grocery list on mine.
Maybe he wants me to pick up his groceries for him, you think?

US edition! How many cowboys does the UK have running around reading SK books?

By omitting all information about UtD, I think this actually adds to the mystery. What does everyone else think?

Mine has a full moon with a wolf howling at a woodchuck in the foreground. Strange. But no notes from Sai King.

I like the blank jacket; surprised, yes, but I like it.
It reminded me of an abstract painting I once created. I didn't use paint; instead, I intentionally left the canvas blank and let the viewer see whatever s/he wanted to see on it. It got rave reviews by my fans...
... those fans being mom & dad when I was 10.

I think you are so right. If you picked this book up in a store or the library and had no idea what it was about, after seeing the blank inner jacket you'd just have to take it home to read, wouldn't you?

Patricia, mine had a long grocery list too. I recall the lady interviewer in Sarasota saying the SK said his home looked like a grocery store. I think he left us his shopping lists:blush:

Mine has something that looks like "Hillarity Clinton." What's up with that?

WTF MINE TOO OMG!!!!!
But seriously, why does your's have a "handwritten note" by "SK"? Maybe someone just scribbled in it and signed it SK? As a joke? Or maybe somehow you got a signed copy by some buyer/seller mistake? Or maybe you're hallucinating and need medical attention? OR maybe it's something that's part of the book that we all have dismissed and you seem to think is something else entirely????!?!?
Those are my explanations.
