I have been reading Stephen King books since I was 11 years old(yep 1981) and I ALWAYS liked the older stuff, like "Salem's lot, Carrie,etc.." Cell was not a bad story, although the end kind of left me ...hanging? It would be sooo much fun, if Mr.King could get back to his zombie stories, like "Home Delivery"..It would be even nicer if it was adapted into a movie. The zombie tale is going thru a renaissance right now, and what else? THE WEREWOLF.Always unpredictable,Before anyone says-Been there, done that-to me, everything comes around FULL CIRCLE.It would be nice to see a King take on a Dawn of the dead, or a Larry Talbot(I know, it's been done before by someone else)werewolf. But it's not a perfect world, right? Is anyone listening?

I would love Stephen King to do some more epic zombie books! Cell was my first Stephen King book so it will always hold a special place in my heart and i bloody loved it! Thats what got me hooked on to him now my book case is actually full of SK i have like 3 shelves of just him! I really want to read his Werewolf one but cant find it anywhere!
Zombies is the one thing that actually scare me because tbh they might actually happen one day and i love being scared by a book so i would love him to bring some more out about zombies! Atm im reading The Stand im like 500 pages in and loving it!

I kinda think that The Cell was his take on the zombie thing.

What about a sequel to Cell? :eyebrow:

It would be interesting to see what happened to the world after The Pulse.

But it shouldn't be done unless there's good ideas behind it. :biggrin2:

Please no zombie books! The subject is so lame! No one has ever written a zombie story that I felt drawn to and no movie has ever been able to make me change my mind about all this.

I think so too, i don't know if another zombie involving novel would be fresh and unique to us constant readers as well as SK so i wouldn't hold your breath! I wouldn't be totally against a sequel to Cell so we can find out more about the origins and means of the Pulse and see how these people fair in this world and whether there is ever any salvation for the phone crazies, i think there is room for expansion and it would be interesting to make parallels with The Stand.

I don't know. I didn't think it was one of his best on first reading.
Maybe I shall revisit it.

I adored Cell, I liked the cruel funny touches (example: the shaving of Tom's moustache and the Alice's (may she live with God now:down: => I know she's just a character but didn't you felt bad when, let's call it, the incident happened) reaction was so hilarious.

How about the werewolf then?
