I finished Under the Dome in five days even though I was in the process of moving. Every break, every meal and long into the night I read. It was my favorite book (except Pet Semetary) and once I figured out the cause of the dome, just as I got to the part where Julia did in the story, it gave me a shiver. I've often wondered if starfish or jelly fish who wash up on the shore at high tide think they've just experienced Katrina. In their world, it's probably the worst that can happen.
