Does anyone know if Stephen King reads James Follett?

The new book seems loosely to follow the plot of The Silent Vulcan trilogy, starting with Temple of the Winds where an English village is suddenly enclosed in a force field dome :wow:.

The story was recently serialised on the radio, and was excellent. Felt like deja vu when I saw the advert for SK's new work.

When was this series started because the oringal idea for the novel came about years before the simpsons movie, back in the 70's i think. I get what you mean though, theres only so much oringalitity out there than even if someone has an idea they think is oringal its possible its been done in a similiar manner.
