I have been given an assignment in my theories of rhetoric class of doing a rhetorical criticism of any existing piece of work. Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I elected to do my work on The Dark Tower series. I think I've bitten off more than I can chew. I mean, we're not supposed to go over 9 pages here.

So, here's my question....I'm searching madly for anything in which Stephen King describes his view of his audience. I'm still on the prowl, but I was hoping some of you faithful CR's could help me out. If you know of anything, please please let me know. My email is jmmiller@ualr.edu. Thank you so much!

And, Mr. King, if you ever get a chance to read these, I would love to hear from you on the subject! :biggrin2:

Part of may have been fiction, but his journal entries at the end of Book 6 really help give perspective on what he feels of his fans, haha.
