Hi y'all,
I'm sitting here with a chapter of "Dreamcatcher"-the one which is called "2001:Jonesy's student-teacher conference". I supposed to make a complete analysis of this chapter, but i must admit that i'm pretty confused: It's the only part of the novel that we've been handled, and reading some of your interpretations only lead meto much more confusion.

Who is this Mr. Gray? My thought were, that he is the narrator in some way?

If not, who is? And why is him/her so mocking? How does he/she knows about jonesy's fate? Is there anything in this chapter that indicate who the narrator is?

What's up with Jonesy, thinking he's psychic?

Oh, i've got so many questions! But at last, and maybe of more importance, do you guys have any idea of an interpretation and analysis of this chapter standing alone(like you didn't knew any of the previous and following chapters?)

Hope you can help me out.

xx

Honestly, I finished the book a few weeks ago and am still just as confused as you are. I never really understood who Mr. Gray was -- or if he even existed at all. :oo:
