Every day after work I ride my green scooter, here in this part of the world that seems to be trapped between New York and New Delhi.
Passing the invisible line between one city to another I look at the tall buildings and think about N, which wasn't even my favorite story in Just After Sunset, but I can't help feeling that in this point of time and place I can reach out and tear the cover off this reality and this world.
I wonder what lies underneath.

At this moment in time (your time :)), what would you think lies underneath? Do share...
Sometime I imagine it's almost like sliding between the realities - like Jack in the Talisman or Father Callahan in the DT series.
But then there are other times and I have to wonder - what creatures lurk underneath that path between here and there... and how big their teeth are :eek2:
