Congratulations! A genie has just granted you the power to have a date with anyone in the world!
Who will it be?
Where will you go?
What will you wear?
(Please leave Barack Obama and Tim LaHaye out of this, unless you've been pining for their smooches.)

Poor, poor Cowboy. If the "real" me appeared you'd be highly disappointed. :biggrin2:

My first choice would be Clive Owen. We'd go hiking and bring a picnic lunch. I'd want the date to be casual so he could wear some kind of v-neck t-shirt that would show as much of his chest hair as possible. :biggrin2:
I'm really embarrassed about my second choice, since I've been slamming Roman Polanski so hard all week, but even though Rupert Grint is half my age, he is 21 and legal. I have a thing for redheads. And then I saw this picture, and thought, "Ay, caramba."

Hmm, okay since i dont have to just pick one, here's my first pick!
1. Odette Yustman
2. A big fancy oak walled, thick curtained, statue adorned bedroom with a nice storm outside @ night
3. Nothing but silk/satin sheets

Kate Beckinsale immediately sprung to mind, but then I thought of Sophie Marceau, which gives me a very tough choice to make, unless....
Hey Susan, does this "fantasy" extend to a threesome? :cool2:

Carol Vordeman or Emmylou Harris
Either one of the many folk music pubs of Dublin or Glasgow OR a coffee shop in Amsterdam.

Let us assume that a completely hetero man date is able to occur
1 ( from another time) Hemingway, in a cuban bar, we would bring lots of cash.
2 (current) Vince Vaughn, hardrock cafe watching any given music show, lots of cash.
Now then For the true meaning of date:
1 Ani D'Franco, we'd tour old sectors of Buffalo New York and discuss the modernazation/destruction of culture and architecture, and we would bring a camera and a camp guitar.
2. Zoey Deshanelle Jazz bar we bring our own insturments *and the gennie would be obliged to add a dash of real talent to my ability to play songs*

SusanNorton, you had to ask?

Ok a fantasy date for me would be Johnny Depp, dressed as Captain Jack.
He could take me as far as my bedroom, and I would be wearing...well you get the picture.
In real life though, I already know who my fantasy date is and roughly when it's going to happen. The details are not important though, that's all just window dressing. As for what i'll be wearing...well I'm sure y'all get the picture by now! ;)

Johnny Depp for me as well. Dress would be casual - actually funky dress would be appropriate. We would go to flea markets and look for more funky attire. Who am I kidding? Just being in the same room would work for me, lol.:laugh:

It would be nice to be out on a boat with my wife - somewhere where the water is that magical blue and there is a rainbow of coral reefs to dive down in and explore. There would be champagne, candles, and a picnic dinner on the bow of the boat with crisp clear stars sprinkled overhead. An old time record player, and a change into formal wear, and we would dance in big spinning circles. I would want to hear stories from her about herself I hadn't heard before, funny little things that she finds embarrassing and I find endearing. I would want to be my charming and witty best, never laying it on thick, but making her glow in happiness. Would want to be so entertaining and enchanted that when the sun rises we react with surprise that so much time has passed.

Great topic; nice and friendly like....:smile2:
Okay, let's first assume that I've got a fat bank account...I'd get my visits in to my American fambly members, Auntie Anna and daddy-o.
THEN!!! :eek2: I'd have a huge party, invite everyone who made and acted in Repo! The Genetic Opera. This is my fantasy, so I'm not married, therefore I'd flirt with Terrance Zdunich (who played Graverobber in aforementioned movie and is a talented so and so) and he would write a song just for me and I'd sing it in his next movie.
If the Terrance Flirt thing falls through; I'd set my sights on Bill Moseley (who ALSO starred in aforementioned movie) and ask him to revise his role as Otis Driftwood [but a NICE Otis Driftwood] in The Devils Rejects just for me...it would be a very interesting night.:wink2:
My BIGGEST fantasy would be an entire week alone with my dog and kitties in a chalet on Lake Muskoka--no hubby, no kid...maybe a month instead!:biggrin2:

October 8th, 2009, 01:40 PM
I would also probly take out The Trilogy of Terror, or they of the katet
Preferrably around Halloween so events could be... a cool horror/rock show, do some hiking, drinking, hand out candy, go to costume party, maybe some art gallerying!
I'd just dress how I do normally, either jeans and tshirt or jeans and button down... maybe hoodie if its cold :P

Plus, I would definitely need to slip into a new and younger body.
So, best stick with intellectual types (not that there's any sawdust on Leo's smarticles), go to ancient ruins and let my mind be filled with new knowledge. I would wear something drip dry. And a great big smile.

Hmmm... Viggo Mortensen, in a heartbeat. I'd just want to go out to a nice coffee shop and spend the afternoon there talking about his publishing company, Perceval Press, and what it's like to have a press of your own, since publishing is the way my life appears to be headed in the long term. I'd also love a chance to photograph his hands. I guess I'd be wearing a pair of casual black pants, scrubs most likely, and a black t-shirt, and sandals with no socks. He's a bare-footer himself, so he'd understand.

Monica Bellucci would be at the top of my list for a date. She is on my "list" that my wife and I have agreed upon. You know, the list where if given the chance, you are allowed to go out with them and nobody is allowed to be mad...lol
I would probably make it an all day date. Pick her up around lunch time, eat a light lunch, go horse back riding, play some miniature golf, play paintball and then take her to get cleaned up for dinner. I would request she wear the white dress that she wore in the Matrix movie and then take her out for a nice Italian dinner. Afterwards would be a walk and horse drawn carriage ride. Of course, to wrap up the night, I would take her to her home and shake her hand and wish her a good night.......unless of course she asked me to stay and play Scrabble, then I would have to stay and showcase my mad Scrabble playing skillz.:eyebrow:

Viggo Mortenson. To a bar with a good live band and booths. I can't be the only one that hates tables and stools....

Who will it be?
Where will you go?
What will you wear?
My husband, the sexiest and most wonderful man I know.
Our very own house, where we sit on the kitchen counter and eat Chinese food out of take-out boxes and talk about everything and nothing at the same time.
I'd start the date off in Jeans and a T-shirt and bare feet, and likely end the date in something skimpy and lacy and purple...
The very best part? I get to fall asleep in his arms and wake up the same way....every single day for the rest of forever. =)

ok...I've thought a bit about this..
my date would be with :Pastor Melissa Scott (www.pastormelissascott.com)
Because...Before she was walkin with Jebus..
She was known by another name and had a very different occupation (http://unreasonablefaith.com/2009/05/20/pastor-melissa-scott-porn-star/)
I'd like to talk with her about corruption and the good 'ol days for a few minites. and then..
I think you can figure out the rest :)

Where do i start?........Ok so i am only 26 and have fancied many of the heart throbs of my generation however i would have to say that my top two are John Barrowman (know hes gay but god hes fit) and David Borreanez Totally gorgeous in Buffy & Angel but with age he has developed a more manly loving persona which i love in a man (see bones). Both guys i would love them to wine, dine and take me to a quiet, romantic spot and look at the night sky taken in the peace and quiet. Ok sad i know but every girl wants romance!!!!!!!!

I'd wanna go with Roland I mean come one, my mental image of him, he's just so tough and manly and etc... Though I have no idea where you'd take a gunslinger. I'd prolly bore him to death  How bout wearing nothin but gunbelts slung low on my hips? HA! that'd prolly scare him away

I don't need a fantasy date! I've got my husband and that's all I need.

I think my fantasy date is one where the kids are at home!
But I wouldn't mind hanging out with Moran Atias for a while.

Who? The first option, the "most possible one" is Bruce Willis...
Where? Maybe in a cabin, with a fire and soft blankets... or some place where a gunshot was taking place... we'd be hiding... LOL
What to wear? well, blankets... but only if it were really cold... or I don't know, a skirt that had a piece torn while we were running away from the bad guys...
the other option is Roland, less possible 'cause he doesn't exist... :grinning:
But it would be nice, no doubt...
We both would be gunslingers, and we'd be together searching for the dark tower... ^^
