My time of year has finally come back again. I like summer too, sorta. I just dont like weather that doesnt do anything....sunshine. We get alot of that in Alberta. I want storms.....as long as I am inside and cozy. Anyway,my snow is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wondering if any other folks are like me and loving it. I think some of my friends would like to smother me with a pillow, though. :eyebrow:

I don't want to smother you with a pillow, Star. It is simply delightful to see you rejoice in life the way you do. Snow is not my cup of happiness, but I'm so glad to see you so ecstatic.

I'm with you! I love winter. Everything looks so clean and pretty when it is covered with the white stuff. We live in Southwest Kansas and really don't get all that much snow anymore. I miss it a lot!

No pillow here Star/ snowstorms are beautiful- it is just a matter of being able to sit back and enjoy them. NO driving, no need to venture outside to go to work, plently of warmth and food on hand. A little log cabin in a snowstorm- perfect picture. Enjoy this season Star.

The first one is pretty. It's the six months of them afterwards that gets old. :biggrin2:

You just gotta learn to play in the snow Marsha.
If you were to walk by my front yard on the first snowfall and see a silly female doing the happy dance, you would get the knack....or send for the van and the butterfly nets.

When playing in the snow doesn't involve getting cold, I might learn to like it. I hate being cold and the argument of dressing up for it doesn't work for me. I don't like being all bundled up and am already not liking that it's getting close to not being able to go out with just a sweater to keep warm. Bah humbug! You can play and do the happy dance for me. :smile2:

I'm with you, Star. I love love love love snow. (I don't care for driving in it, but that's a small price to pay.)
When I was a kid, my parents and older relatives would tell me that someday I would hate snow. I am 38, so I think my snow-love has stuck for good.

Hey Star it's snowing in my part of the world right now. We have had snow a couple of times so far this season. Nothing is really sticking at lower elevations, but the mountain top has a pretty white covering.
Here's a picture I took two days ago on my way to town:
