Hi guys,

I found this interesting. A newly published report by the United Nations has ranked Norway as the best country in the world in which to live. The quality of life survey ranked 182 countries and included factors such as life expectancy, education, income and crime rates. The runner-up was Australia, with another Scandinavian country, Iceland, in third place.

At the other end of the table, Niger, Sierra Leone and Afghanistan were the least advisable places to move to. I'm sure that our troops can vouch for that last one!

The USA came in at 13th, with the UK a little further behind in 21st place. :cool2:

Yeah, I just read that.
Canada is #4, not to bad, not to bad at all.
I`m not moving to Norway, I can find polar bears and penguins somewhere around here too...:biggrin2:

Hi,

Thankee for that Drew, I've never been to Norway but I've had a few Norwegian friends and they were certainly very together people.

It's often the Netherlands that comes out on top in these kind of surveys, and Holland is certainly a great country, can you tell me where the Dutch finished in this report, please?

Long days and pleasant nights
