I'm fairly new here, so I'm not sure exactly who is who, but I get the feeling that some of you guys sort of have an inside contact with the King from a few things I have read.
I just finished up the 61 pages of The Cannibals that is on the site, and I am blown away. To get my hands on a King novel from that time where everything he wrote was magical(imo) is an amazing thing. Now I'm not saying King's later work is bad, it's just that for the most part, King novels from the late 70's through the mid 80's were legendary in my mind. That period in his life he was just a different animal, and no matter how good some of his newer stuff is, he can never replace that vibe and that rawness of that time period.
I just read that he may be putting out another 60 pages for the fans and I'm sure I'm not the only schmo DROOLING for this, but do any of you mods know if he is intending to release the entire book at the end of the road? Whether in installments on the computer as it is now, or maybe even in novel form once it is all said and done?
If the answer is even a tentative YES, then I will gladly kick back and relax until its completion so I can bang it out in one shot. The installments are better than nothing, but knowing it will all be there one day in the future will put me at ease!
I MUST KNOW THE FATES OF NERDY TOM, BADA$$ PULASKI, STIFF RENALDI, AND MS INNOCENT JO!!!! :smile2:
