I think that is a very handsome look on him. The nicely groomed one that is. Not that one up there where he's looking batsh*t crazy.

I like his current look, but I was also a fan of the chubby and hairy Stephen King, the Hagrid look. :)

Did I not see somewhere that Mr. King explained the beard being there or not depended on the baseball season????

If he is like 99.9% of the rest of married men in America, I am pretty sure that Mrs. King has veto power over all facial hair.

He used to do that but stopped when his beard became more salt than pepper.

Sai King's hair colour appears to survived the blandishments of age much better than most of us though.

Classic thread, Righteous beards are all the rage with the late 20 something artist crowd. I had a beard to rival John Lennon yesterday... The wife vetoed me... Tis all but gone!
