Just finished reading All That You Love Will Be Carried Away . . . and the first thing I had to think of was a photo a friend of mine sent to me from a bathroom stall in Kuwait. He's a GI in the US Army.

I'm not a boy, I'm a girl. In the rest-stops I visit here in the northeast of the USA, the stalls are of stainless steel and the evidence of markers is so easily wiped away. But it's not the case in the stalls of other types of restrooms, states, or countries. So I share this with you, about which my friend said, "After sitting there laughing, I decided this is NOT what I wanted to get kicked out of the Army for":

What have YOU seen?

Ji,

My favourite was actually in a book of graffiti.

It was in two parts, the first writer had written -

'My mother made me a homosexual'.

And the response read -

'If I gave her the wool would she make me one too?'.

Long days and pleasant nights

That's my favourite, too! I instantly thought of it when the subject of graffiti came up...
