Hey Steve, just listened to Bag of Bones ... again! And again I was completely enthrolled. It made my commute to work a pleasure. Just one question, have you thought about bringing out a CD with the music from the novel. I'd buy it and I'm sure i ain't the only one ... if you want to go fishing, in my fishing hole ... you don't get lyrics like dem anymore :-)
Have a great weekend everyone, Becks

This is the first time that i have read a book and felt that i was able to hear the music in the story. even when i have heard the songs that are being referenced. For some Reason this Book brings out that vibe. Really gets me into the details all the way around. "Ain't Nothin' but a barn Dance Sugah"

I am having trouble finding a copy of Bag of Bones on audio cd that does not have a bad place on the first cd. I have ordered it 4 times total. Three times from Barnes & Noble and once from Books a Million. The problem is on the first cd there is a bad spot and it will not let you skip to the 3rd track to get past it. It starts all over from the beginning. I have tried 4 brand new sets and they have all done the same thing. The bookstores say they can't do anything about it but keep ordering them and I can keep sending them back. They say it must be a bad lot. My question is...Is there not a good one in the whole United States? Its a little rediculous. I'm at a loss for what to do. Anybody got any ideas? I have the hardcover book but I really want it on audio cds. Its a lot easier for me with a 3 yr old. I don't have time to read : ) I can't get any answers from anywhere else...anybodys help would be appreciated.

I heard the music as well, although it took me a couple months to find a melody to suit the lyrics, and once I did I came up with a song about an affair. I'd love to record it if I could get permission from the author (?!?).

Thank you so much, Mr. King, for letting me record Barn Dance. I'm not sure if I can do Sarah justice, but I'll sure as hell try!

You can get it now in mp3 form from Audible and iTunes. Audible is usually a better place (at least for the consumer, I'm not sure about authors) since once you join you can get a free audio book every month and everything has a significant discount. iTunes has some of the same stuff, but no discount.

BTW, the music that was recorded for the audiobook is fantastic. Does anyone know who that female singer is? Oof, she's got a gorgeously sexy voice!

Heh... never mind, just had to wait until I actually got to the end of the audiobook to get the singer's name... sigh...
