I picked up a copy of From a Buick 8 that had a promotional poster of the dust jacket inside the cover and no dust jacket. The cover itself is solid grey/black and not the white with a blue spine. It has the full number line. Question is what did I find?
Thanks for any input,
Eric

Just a follow up to my above post. The Only other difference is the wording on the spine. On the White w blue spine edition it has Stephen above King and the "From a Buick 8" graphic, as in the K from Buick wraps under the number 8, all in silver. The other edition has gold lettering on the spine and "Stephen King" NOT stacked Stephen over King, and From a Buick 8 is linear text and not the graphic.
Thnks again for looking at the post,
Eric

Where did you buy this book? Did you buy it new or at a used book store? It could be a promotional item for the book that only certain bookstores got.

I believe the book you have is from the Book-of-the-Month Club.

Hey, Eric Lev! Thanks for the reminder! I've had my poster tucked away w/a bunch of other stuff that I always meant to have framed, and completely forgot about it!
Framing is now on the agenda for this weekend, and it's going into my son's room, if he wants it.
Thanks again:smile2:

Thanks all, It sounds like it was a promotional copy that came with a dust jacket that was lost before I found it at a used book store.
Thanks again,
Eric
