I bet it would be cool if you thought of an idea and then asked 10 different (or more?) authors to write a serial based on a central idea. Release it like The Green Mile, one small book every week or month?? First off would be King and he would set up story line give you 50-100 pages. Then another author and so on. I would have a authors from different genres of course to make it really interesting. My ideal authors would be King, RA Salvatore, Rowling, Grisham, Robert Kirkman, Gaiman, Anne Rice, ...to name a few.
It might not be a great book but it would be cool to experience it.

Oh, I'd like to think it would be a great book! You hooked me. Where do I sign the petition? LOL.
Seriously, I'd love to see Sai King and Nail Gaiman team up for a collaboration. I recently started reading Gaiman and absolutely love his style. I've been watching his readings of The Graveyard Book on his web site and have to say it's a most enjoyable time.
Good idea. Now how do we make it happen???

I am about 25 pages into The Graveyard Book. I am really enjoying it as well. I was unaware of his reading .... Iwill go to his web.

I can see it now on the back cover:
Randall Flag, an denim clad ancient vampire, sets out on his magical flying broom to protect an important witness involved in a case about a dark elf vs. vampire kind. His adventures take him beyond the borders of the world, the four elephants and the turtle, to peer into the dark heart of zombie kind. Will he survive? Only time will tell.

Greatness! You know what? I would read that adventure you just wrote! Sounds great to me!!! Throw in Danielle Steele and you will capture every audience!

Randall Flag, a denim clad ancient vampire, sets out on his magical flying broom to protect an important witness involved in a case about a dark elf vs. vampire kind. His adventures take him beyond the borders of the world, the four elephants and the turtle, to peer into the dark heart of zombie kind. Will he survive? Will his throbbing manhood conquer the hearts of maidens fair? Only time will tell.
