I am about halfway through Duma Key, but was so overpowered by the mental image I got when Reba dreamed of being chased by a giant frog with teeth, that I had to stop and draw the included picture. I hope you enjoy it.

You may notice a line down the center. It was too big to scan in one pass, so I had to join a pair of images.

"It's got TEEF!" Jesus, how terrifying.

It seems a direct click doesn't work too well. You can drag the picture link and drop it into your address bar to get to it, however.

Dragging worked. Cool picture. While I was there I looked at some of your other work. Impressive. This from a guy who can not draw a straight line.

Thats a really great picture!!! Being that Duma Key is one of my favorite King novels, Ive been thinking ever since I read it for the first time that someone should do a series of paintings/drawings to imitate the pieces described in the book. Unfortunately I have no artistic ability or I would do it myself :smile2:

Maybe not the place for this, but the heading “fan art” jogged my memory. Does anyone remember back in 2007 (I believe... in a lead up to it's release) getting an email from Stephen King’s website alerting members to a contest for a Duma Key poster contest in the UK? Curious if anyone here submitted any.

I did... but didn’t win. Here was my entry.
