Hey everyone, I've been checking out this board this entire weekend and decided I should sign up.

If one was to want to chat about Mr. Kings EW column, which section of the forum should I go to?

Thanks

He writes a column for EW every 3 weeks but I don't think there's a thread just for that at this time.

Perhaps one should be started then. This months column has garnered quite a bit of attention despite the issue not being released yet. I know I would like to discuss it with this boards members.

Jordan created a forum just for Steve's EW column and I'm trying to move any old threads (including this one) to that forum which is called the Pop of King.

I have always wanted to call a radio station and say. Hi long time caller first time listner. the DJ's head will smoke.

I dig it on Kevin Pollak's online interview show where he has his guests each time do thier best Larry King impersonation, that is if Larry were revealing some TMI personal details about each guest that noone would really want to know. Then they have to end it with a reallly bizarre town name, as in: "Crouch End, you're up next..." In fact, I'd like it even better if SK were to do an interview on Pollak's show and then see what his impression would look and sound like....

Not going to happen. It's not his idea of having a good time.

I once called a Radio Station and asked the DJ to play Xanadu by Rush. Idiot played Tom Sawyer instead. As if that was the right move. Duh.

It was probably all that he was allowed to play, and may have had available to him, unless he's the program director, and sometimes he doesn't readily alter the playlist and format either... believe it or not, but two songs by the same artist can sometimes fall under different categories that keeps them from being played on the same station, even a classic rock station, depending on the limits of what its particular version of the classic rock format allows....

Has this article that has garnered so much attention been published yet? I've visited the site, but so far all I can find is the article concerning screen addiction; this can't be the article to which you refer, can it?
