stories that link to other books

I'm just wondering but are there any links people know of between the short stories in this book and the rest of Stephen King's universe? Reading it I've noticed that in Mrs Todd's Shortcut the narrator mentions someone's dog who killed them ( i cant remember the name) but since its based in Castle Rock, could that link it to Cujo? Also In The Hand Who Would Not Shake Hands the narrator mentions about a group of women who give birth no matter what...could that link to the Breathing Method in Different seasons as i heard both stories are told in a simliar way?

hi strange. well, in that first story you mention, about the shortcut, there's some cool frogs, or uncool, depending on your persuasion. i won't bother linking them for you. that's your job. that second you mention, yeah, sure, that sounds plausible, thanks for the post. i'll keep it mind when i do a reread. thanks.

finished the book now and theres a few more things. Firstly in the story Nona the character mentions Ace from The Body and he goes back to Castle Rock and in The Reach there's a link to Nona because the line "do you love?" is repeated and there's a character, a young girl called Nona who's the protagonist's granddaughter

One that I noticed is the girl Cynthia in Desperation who meets Steve is also in Rose Madder, although this makes more sense if you read Rose Madder first. There are also lots of characters who make an appearance in more than one story; Pop Merril, Thad Beaumont, Frank Dodd being mentioned in the beginning of Cujo, etc.
