Hi, I just finished this book. Something I'm wonder: how did Bobby's glove get in Sully's car? Did Ted somehow take it from Willie and then place it in Sully's car, I guess using the magic doors?

Also, I haven't seen The Prisoner but what was the whole "heart" + "peace" = Information thing?

Also, were there any references in The Dark Tower to anything that happened in Hearts? Other than Ted himself of course.

i just happen to read his novel "hearts in atlantis",but couldnt understand its ending...

1)i mean the last scene of the chapter: Heavenly Shades Of The Night Are Falling....inside the glove there was the title page of the book LORD OF FLIES....but it was from the book given to PETE RILEy in the EPISODE: Hearts in Atlantis, so how its title page ended up in the glove of Bobby...

2)i mean that arrow sign+anti-war sign=information?
carol wrote it there and gave it to pete....isnt it?
What i think pete also served in the veitnam war , so he in the end gave the glove back to bobby ...can u confirm plz?

1. Ted put it in there so Bobby would know it was a message from him. It wasn't just a page from the 1960 copy, it was a brand new one. I don't remember Pete Riley having a copy of the book, but it's probably unrelated anyway.

2.The Love +Peace = information was a message that Carol and Pete Riley shared together. Ted sent that as a message to her.

Also you are way off on the last part. Pete never went to Vietnam, and even if he did, he knew nothing about the glove. Willie Sherman still had the glove in 1983 when Blind Willie takes place. I forget exactly how Sully gets ahold of it, but he knew it belonged to Bobby Garfield, so he had it returned to him after his death.

I haven’t read all of the Dark Tower novel (the first four) but I guess a lot of questions pertaining this particular book will be cleared up in the latter Dark Tower novels. But I put down a lot of the questions as questions that left up to your own interpretations . Just a thought.
