I always find it interesting when an artist writes about another art form... that same feeling is there, overall, of creation, but the process is so different that sometimes the details get lost. I'm not sure the experience of painting is quite as King described... my husband is an artist... although everyone's process is different, even in writers...! Still, it was an interesting concept/idea.
