I know we have things that just brings us a world of happiness..Mine is my bubble bath..It just a simple pleasure...but feels so indulgent. Have any simple possesions that makes you happy?

Ooo! I love bubble baths! Too bad the grungy kid is always dirtying up my bathtub! Yuck! Teenage boys! I also love lying in my room with all my candles lit with incense burning. Or just standing in the ocean with the waves hitting me and the wind blowing in my face! Hmm, also love standing in the rain while the thunder and lightning go OFF! Yup, I'm weird! (I'm also a human lightning rod with the metal rod in my thigh, so go figure why I love thunderstorms so much!)

Corny, but all my photo albums. If (God forbid) there was a fire, the rescue order would be kids, cat, albums.

Not so much bubble baths for me. A hot tub on the other hand.. :grinning:
No, my ultimate pleasure (without working a sweat!) is when my husband rubs my feet. I LOVE a good foot massage.. It relaxes me in a sec.
It isn't even just the feet, I love being carressed. A massage is heavenly for me.
As for possessions go.. then I would choose my husband. :cool2:

Give me candy, and I'm silly-giddy-happy-go-lucky. Hot Tamales, Swedish Fish, Smarties, Tootsie Pops, Runts, jelly beans, Laffy Taffy, even those strange round caramel things with the white powdery stuff in the middle (what the heck are those anyway?); I love candy stuff.
From a less self-indulgent perspective, any time with my children is...well,...like giving me candy. <3 <3 :)

I love to cleaning in the stable and beeing with my dog. To read a book or be here at SKMB make my day happy. And to sleeping on weekend and just relaxing that also very nice.

My dog-walking coat: Its navy blue, wool, goes to mid-thigh, has a hood and zips up to almost right under the nose. This coat can go from cool fall into the coldest of bitter winter. Ah, wool. Its perfect. When its cold enough to start wearing that coat its like the whole season just opens up.

I have a German version of Jagged Alliance 2, signed by the crew at Sir-tech. Unopened, of course! Just having it sit on the shelf is a pleasure. It is very personal and one that not more than a handful of people on the planet would understand.

I would have to say my wedding ring. My original ring broke and I lost my diamond to the bottom of the Colorado River...:glare: We could not afford to replace it for several years. But one day my hubby came home and got down on one knee and slipped the new ring on my finger. He said, I am sorry it took so long for me to get you this, but, I would marry you a hundred times again and love more each day that goes by.:love:

TBH I don't really care much for material possessions, I can take them or leave them.
So long as I have my health and my mental faculties then I am happy:smile2:.

My favorite possession isn't a material object. It's the total peace and tranquility that I feel when I'm sitting in the sun on a rock at the top of my favorite waterfall and listening to the sound of the water as it rushes down. :)

Has to be, hands down, my Grandmothers china (service for 16). I get such a warm fuzzy when I pull it out on Thanksgiving and/or Christmas and set the table so pretty. Its truly a treasure. My daughter is always confirming that when she grows up she gets it. :)

I have a few material objects that are near and dear to my heart. My five guitars really mean a lot to me. I've even named them. There's Roland Deschain, Vito Corleone, Randall Flagg, The Crimson King, and Eddie Dean.
Then there's my high school year books. I haven't named them, but they do contain the names and pictures of so many of my dear friends. :) They also contain messages that my friends wrote to me. I don't want to lose those even more than I don't want to lose my guitars.

Mine would have to be my book collection. I have aquired so many over the past few years. I love the way they smell, the way they look in their place, and everything. I have so many that when I moved and got married, my wife wouldn't even help me. And when I got divorced, no one would help me move then either. They were looking for the pillows. :smile2:

I guess my favorite all time possession would be my picture of my biological father. I never knew him, and only have the one pic, but it's special to me.
