is it just me or does blaze have a very strong feel of steinbecks 'of mice and men'? not that it didn't have that special twist, but the feel was still there?

Hi,
Aye.
Quote from 'Full Disclosure' (The introduction) p4 UK HB. (Footnote #11) -
'And, of course, it's an homage to 'Of Mice And Men' - kinda hard to miss that'.

JohnDalglish got the words out of my mouth, so I'll just dumbly repeat them. Yes, it does and very intentionally so. But I find the SK version somewhat darker. Or perhaps, just very Kingish.

I'm with you on this one. I did a book report on this book and I did bring up that Blaze had many parables with "Of mice and men".
