I'm excited to start this later on (I have 2 more SK books before it to read first). I've never read a series of short stories before (not that I remember -- perhaps when I was in school). Any favorites you guys think I should look forward to? I saw "The Mist" was included; I loved the movie, so I hope the book is just as good, at least.

Survivor Type. One of my favorite King short stories and really makes you think about the capabilities of the human psyche.

im reading it atm, so far I love it. I've read up to The Jaunt but so all the stories show a lot of maturity and change compared to Night Shift.

Skeleton Crew is a wonderful collection. I remember when I found it in hardback. . . . . awwww, good memories.

Enjoy Skeleton Crew. I love Stephen King short story collections. They're fun to go back to over and over.

My favorites from Skeleton Crew are The Mist, Gramma, and The Raft. Try reading Gramma at night in a dimly lit room and see if you get a chill. And The Raft always comes to mind when I swim in a lake. Happy reading!

I really enjoyed The Raft and The Jaunt. The Jaunt's ending was creepy as heck :oo:
