The Shining connection

I don't think this is crossed as a book that connects and I know the web site doesn't mention it. But in The Shining Danny hears the todash chimes. When he is at the doctor after the wasps attack him, the doc asks him to make tony appear and as Danny passes out/follows Tony he hears sweet chiming bells.
Sounds a lot like the todash chimes to me

This may be thinking just a little bit far into it, but is it possible that tony is a twinner to Danny? and tony is trying to help Danny not mess up for both of their sakes.

That's a nice point. Never noticed it but Mr. King being the kind of writer he is (IE - creating an entire King World and connecting many stories and characters together), I'm not really surprised.
