Ms. Mod I just got a cool Idea. There are a lot of Mr. King's short stories that have never been published, and for one reason or another most fans believe never will. I was thinking the true fans (SKMB Members) would be willing to do almost anything for these stories.
Even though Mr. King has made it clear he dose not like Collector's Edition books there seems to be more & more coming out each year. My Idea is this, exclusively available for SKMB Members & only for a limited time a collection of short stories almost everyone has heard of but never read.
A portion of the money made could go to The Haven Foundation and it would give members a chance to own a true collector's edition we may never have the chance for otherwise.

That's a great idea but one of the reasons some of those earlier stories have not been published so far is because Steve doesn't want them to be. He doesn't think the writing is up to par so unless he edits them to make them more acceptable to his standards, they'll stay in the unpublished category. Right now he has too many other irons in the fire to do the editing.

mind you, some of that unpublished stuff if were lucky could one day be published, I mean theres stuff ideas he might want to re-write and re-work like Blaze or Under the Dome was something he abandoned twice in his younger days. Who knows, there might be more gems hidden there.

Ms. Mod
I am new to the site but have been reading Mr. King's books since I was a little girl - yes, you guessed it, my books at that age included his. I loved every single one of them and what PSJ77 Senior Member suggested is awesome and would love for that to happen. However what you said may not be possible for this to happen. I would like to know about specifically 'The Cannibals'. When I finished reading both parts - I wanted more but sadly I did not see any further downloads or a trace of more to come in the future. Its like going cold turkey! I am in pain! Do I dare hope that the other 440 pages may appear sometime soon as Part III and IV perhaps? PLEASE!!!!! What can I do or say to make this happen? Just like The Plant - I have been left with an aching soul......I was hoping that everytime I visited the website, I would get a pleasant surprise of a notification that Part III is now available for download but alas, this is not to be. Any chance Mr. King might reconsider and give us the rest of the pages? Any news on "The Plant" too? I am willing to just about do anything - although I will stop at selling my soul!

Sorry, but I only have bad news on both counts. Steve doesn't want any more of The Cannibals posted at this time and I don't know if he will eventually change his mind. The muse hasn't returned for The Plant so that remains dormant.

So...does the muse for The Plant look like that green alien Captain Kirk kissed once?
I'm just curious. :p

And green it shall be - I will paint myself from head to toe if it will help him start on the finished product of 'The Plant'. I will settle for the Plant if I can't have the Cannibals. I can definitely compromise.....anyway, onwards ho to 'The Dome' for now or perhaps I will save The Dome for later and start on the Little Stranger (one of Mr. King's suggestions) and see what this is like, if only to calm myself down.
