since I've read it. But Home Delivery used to be one of my favorites, next to Crouch End and the House on Maple Street, and My Pretty Pony, and Umney's Last Case, and.....

It's not the Zombie season on LOST, or the end of the remake of Dawn of the Dead, but it is exemplary of how King takes the classics, new or old, and turns them completely inside out. As though they had never been written before.

Anybody else dig this story in particular besides me?

I love how SK can use elements of horror to convey to the reader such meaningful and touching story as this. In all his novels and short stories alike you can see the juxtaposition of horror/science fiction/weird fiction and a dramatic, heart felt story. All in all, a good little story baked with a dash of zombies, a hint of heart throb, and a sprinkle of American perseverance, all baked into good ol' storytelling.

Just the way I like it!

LOLOL Yes. Zombies provide a particularly trenchant and succinct response to all the cross-the-aisle fist-fighting and bickering.... they finally do something unilateral... get eaten.

I loved Home Delivery, my favorite of this collection. I could have dug it as a novel.

Odd, thought it was already in production/pre-production... but that's cool too... at least the home delivery is finally on its way....
