A local Las Vegas author (Stephen Grogan) has written a whodunnit novel that involves the Mayor and a bunch of dead mobsters. You read it first for the mystery of who the killer is and then to find the clues to the treasure. The murder weapon is a dagger and the author took a real silver dagger and hid it somewhere in Las Vegas. The clues to the location are in the book "Vegas Die". The first one to find the dagger and turn it into the author gets $25,000. If you like code/puzzles you will like this book but it is not easy.

I have been working on this book for a over a year now. I have figured out some of the puzzles but I don't think anyone has come close to the location yet. He used playing card suits to hide some messages using morse code. Although one part seems double encoded somehow and no one has been able to figure it out yet.

Check out the website and let me know if you get the book.

I`ve read in the news a few days ago that a daughter wanted to suprise her mom by bying her a new mattress ( it happened in Israel ).
Which she did, and she threw her moms old mattress out.

Nice gesture.

Bad thing is : Her mom had over a million bucks hidden in that old mattress.

Now, that`s what I call treasure hunting what they are doing now...going through a garbage disposal depo where 2500 tons of garbage are dispossed every day.
