Hi, I recently read Stephen King's On Writing. It was great. He gets to the meat of the matter while letting the reader know that writing is organic. I could say more . . . blah, blah, blah . . . . The one thing that was missing from the equation can only be answered by his wife, Tabitha King. They fell in love, both writers, and, I'm sure part of the courtship fantasy was they would both write and give each other plenty of time to write. But then along came babies. So, while Stephen was using every extra minute to write, what was Tabitha doing? Working, taking care of kids . . . where did she find time and ENERGY to write?

Tabitha did you have to wait while you took care of the kids, worked part time jobs and functioned as your husband's muse? Did you and Stephen take turns? How did you do it?

My husband is starting his writing career, and I would like to start mine. We just had two babies (3-year-old and a 1-year-old), and I already have two teens from a prior marriage. I was an adjunct English teacher at a university. I have taken some time off to stay at home with the kids and write. I have so much to do to take care of the home, all the kids, and my husband as well as pets that I rarely have time to write, and when I do, my energy is zapped.

Frazzled and desperate,

p.s. If there is any way that Tabitha King could actually respond and give me some tips that would be truly fantastic.
