Oh heck yeah! The Creepshow movies were awesome! It's been a while since I've seen them! Hmm, wonder if they've got them on DVD? I like ordering my old favorites on amazon and getting them cheap. Guess I ought to go check that out, eh?

Thanks for the post lady!

I love that one, I can't remember the name of that particular one, but me and my sister still say that to each other when we on occasion give each other rides anywhere. :smile2:
Love Creepshow period.

Creepshow 1 is on DVD. If you have Encore, Creepshow 2 comes on occasionally. When I first saw it, I thought Just say You're welcome!! He'll leave you alone if you say You're welcome!! lol

Creepshow 1 was better then Creepshow 2. But actually Thanks for the ride lady was most scariest to me.

Hahha..That is one of my favourite quotes. Whenever i pick up a buddy of mine i always say (in that gruff hobo voice) 'Thank's for the ride, lady'.

I liked the first story as well, the one with the floatie in the pond and the teenagers swimming out to eat only to face a gruesome death by a killer floating blob. Nice.....

I believe you mean The Raft. The actual story (slightly different) is in Skeleton Crew

In 'The Raft,' I liked how (Movie Version) the guy almost got to the car, but, dangit the oilslickthingy wasn't totally confined to water.

Has anyone here ever bought the "Thanks for the ride, lady!" t-shirt? I have it, but have yet to wear it.

Personally, my favorite segment from CREEPSHOW 2 is "Ol' Chief Woodenhead".

CREEPSHOW III is complete dreck. It's not even a "so bad, it's good" film.

"Thanks for the ride, lady" is really great. It is so scary!
But my favorite episode from Creepshow 2 is Ol' Chief Woodenhead. And I like The Raft as well. So, to my mind, Creepshow 2 is a very good movie. I like it very much.

I love "Creepshow 2"! For me it is right up there with the first film - although I would have liked to seen more of Adrienne Barbeau! This particular vignette is one of my favorites. I love how she keeps talking to herself! "$4,000 Mrs. Lansing and it'll look like it just came out of the showroom"! I love Lois Cleveland Chiles as Annie Lansing. She is - for lack of better terminology - too fabulous. I love that she's out cheating on her husband, she commits a hit-and-run, she goes crazy and fights off a man/ghost/zombie/ghoul - whatever in the hell he is - all the way to her house where she dies in the garage. And even though she flies up and down the road and kills a man, Mrs. Lansing can wheel. She could teach Richard Petty a thing or two! Oh, and I also love this one because Stephen King has a role in it as a truck driver and a copy of the novel "It" is on the headboard behind Mrs. Lansing's gigalo. Also, everyone is right about "Creepshow 3" - it sucks, it has nothing at all to do with the previous two films and I still have no idea why it even has the name "Creepshow" attached to it. [If there are any "Halloween" fans on here - then you know what I mean. "Season of the Witch" anybody?]

I liked the first creepshow best. The second one was ok. But I find it is not one of my favorites.

the raft with the bin liner special effects is only just watchable but thanks for the ride lady keeps creepshow 2 good enough to watch lol

I like the Creepshow segment where Stephen King plays the dull witted farmer who finds the glowing meteorite. I was flipping channels a few weeks ago and came across that one. Very pleasant surprise to see that one unexpectedly.
