I think the Calla in Wolves of the Calla was a fascinating place and I wish Mr. King will get back to it, when he's so called "in the area".
I wonder if now, after the wolves are gone, there are still mainly twins being born and I wonder what happened to singeltons in this society and I wonder if the Sisters of Oriza are still throwing their plates.

thinking about how i try to relate the dark tower world to the stand. wouldn't The calla possibly being the stand version of boulder. or that Roland is perhaps related to(or a great relative to) Fran and Stu? the fact that stuff from our world comes up in their world is to much cocinedence.

Hi,
@K4Driver - All-World is basically a world much like our own, but in the very distant future after man has decided (pathetically) to try and bring down the Dark Tower. By doing so they began breaking down the beams and the world began to sicken like a leaf drying out.
Once upon a time All-World even had cars (Amoco gas station under the mountains in The Gunslinger) and landed on the moon (Walter Paddick's discussion to Roland Deschain in their confrontation in The Gunslinger), so I would say that their world is pretty much a mirror of ours, albeit destroyed, but in a really wacked out way!
Long days and pleasant nights
