i just finished the dark tower series, and i have to say these were the best 7 books i have ever read (out of probably 1000 books i have read). the ending of book 7 was better than i could have hoped for! after that ending i didn't want to read the second ending (coda), but the tower wouldn't let me stop and the second ending was simply amazing! KA IS A WHEEL!!!

Yes, I agree! I haven't read The Gunslinger yet (I'm reading them out of order, but that's how they are available to me,) but I'm looking forward to it. There is another story with Roland in it. It's in Everything's Eventual, a collection of short stories. The story is The Little Sisters Of Eluria.

Hi,

Plus of course the excellent comics/graphic novels.

And the books with DT tie-ins, like Hearts in Atlantis (Low Men in Yellow Coats), Insomnia, Salem's Lot, and Black House (see the main site for complete list).

And Robin Furth's invaluable Concordance, and Bev Vincent's The Road to the Dark Tower.

Plus it benefits like no other work IMO from re-reading.

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. This series is certainly one of my favorites too.

If the chance arises, when you have all of the books, re travel the journey from book 1 to 7. I can almost guarantee it will be like the very first time.
