My sister will be settling there for a while with a boyfriend and I was planning her. Any suggestions of things to do and see? I have on my list to visit the Bata Shoe Museum which my husband is not too happy about. :biggrin2:

You could schedule your visit for November and go to see King during his Under the Dome tour.

The McKenzie Brothers called and said that you could always drink beer. It's very Canadian.

I'm sure there something to meet your husbands needs. Just hang out downtown.
Museums, art galleries, clubs and most importantly shoe stores.

Go walking down Queen Street West. There are so many cool shops and buildings down there. I'm talking about Victorian 'painted ladies'. Take lots of film. There's a couple of great gothic emporiums on that street, and years ago, I remember seeing a shop that ONLY SOLD FEATHER BOAS. How's that for specialized?

Casa Loma is amazing, I would highly recommend it, I was eight when I visited it and I can still remember the all body shower...and not to forget China Town, if you go for that kind of food of course.
