Okay, we all know that the Great One visits these boards from time to time to see how his minions are getting on, but just how tech savvy is he? Does he use the Internet much? Does he tweet? Does he use e-mail?

Yeah. That's an interesting question. Does he have the iphone? Or a cool cellular device? The ipod touch, perhaps? I know he has a kindle. If not, I think he should have a cool ipod pre-loaded with the greatest classic rock of all time! :)

I'm impressed with the "no cell phone". I get scared when I leave home without mine.:eek2: My husband always says "you know, people have survived for thousands of years without cell phones. I'm sure you'll be okay.":biggrin2:

Ah, so he does have e-mail. Perhaps he is unaware that I, too, have this new thing called e-mail! I would type my address here, but I don't particularly want to hear from any of the bozos here, just Steve. I'll PM you with my personal address, Ms. Mod (just pass it along to Steve - I don't really want to hear from you, either).

No cell phone? Seriously? Wow, I can't hardly imagine how hard it would be for me without my cell phone.

From any of us:eyebrow:?
Oh wow, that really hurts me where I live:down:.
There are so many, that it hardly seems fair to judge all Bozos' from some isolated Bozo incident you may have suffered in the past:oh:.
However I do understand that PTBS (Post Traumatic Bozo Syndrome) is nothing to laugh at...unless of course a squirting boutineer is involved...I mean, how could it not, it's such a classic:laugh:.
Hey man, like peace, why don't you just try and give Bozo's a chance:love:?!
(now Goofball anxiety I would totally understand)

I've heard that too. lol
Glad to hear that SK and I have something else in common. No cell phone for me either.
Oh, and BTW - I don't want any bozos to contact me either. The rest of you are my good friends and more than welcome - any time.

Following that logic, don't read Dreamcatcher, or you may never sit down on the toilet again. :biggrin2:

That's true! My daughter used to throw a fit THAT BAD when she was a baby...it's horrifying and funny in an odd way. She doesn't seem to have brain damage now, her sister who didn't? That's another story.

I would think SK's level of "tech savvyness" is demonstrated by being on the cutting edge of web site technology 10 years ago. He may not know about the specifics but he knows enough to authorize a website when no one else was really doing it.

How lucky are we that we can stop by here and speak to an actual representative of our favorite author? It's not common to be sure.

So thanks again SK, this site is an amazing resource.

You know what they say: One bad Bozo spoils the whole bunch. Personally, I don't subscribe to that nonsense either. A squirting boutineer? Watch out and stand back! We might get somethin' on us!

Sorry if I am missing the joke (if it was a joke) but that was extremely rude, and you need to apologize to Ms. Mod.

No apology necessary, Mr. Jingles, it was meant as a joke. El Guapo and I are amigos--no offense taken on my part. :smile2:

hearing the sarcastic tones in forum replies can be difficult. one can only imagine how often this kind of misunderstanding happens around the internet, and how often it leads to angry people. Alas! even on a message board as pacifistic as this one, it can happen.

Well, I don't know about the rest, but I know I don't like being called a bozo for no reason. However, I digress. If you're not offended, then lovely. Sorry if he's your friend, but he seems like an a**. And that just pissed me off when I read it, cuz it comes across quite nasty.

Best piece of advice I ever got was someone telling me to never be offended on someone else's behalf. :D

Ms. Mod is cool with it, that's all that matters.

Now, on topic. That Stephen King is really on the cutting edge of the internet here.

Okay, it's time for me to step in.

I am ElGuapo. I was working on my profile page and was wondering why I could still see things that I thought I'd deleted, and was curious if other people could see them, too. So, I created a new identity so I could view my profile page as someone else.

Imagine my embarrassment when Ms. Mod totally busted me by sending me a PM saying "Really?? ElGuapo???" I didn't know she could tell that people had more than one identity. :biggrin2::blush:

I'd planned to delete ElGuapo's account, but told Ms. Mod I might keep it so I could write rude things to people, and then posted the above message.

I'm really sorry for the confusion and outrage. I'd be angry, too, if someone wrote those things to Ms. Mod. I usually get in trouble when I try to be funny... :sleepy:
