In an interview with Stephen King he mentions that a lot of times he'll go back and read his books a number of years later. When he does such he says that his book reads to him as if someone else wrote it and he can enjoy it like other readers might. He go's on to say that Dreamcatcher is one such book that he may re- read the year is 2002 in the interview. He says, "Come back to me in 2009 and ask me to read Dreamcatcher again and I'll let you know what I think. So if you have the time Mr. King would you let us know what you think of dreamcatcher now?

Hi,
Yes, me too.
I believe he was in agony when he wrote it longhand and our Ms Mod transcribed it, and he originally wanted to call it 'Cancer' until Tabby dissuaded him.
It would indeed be very interesting to learn what he thinks of it now.
Long days and pleasant nights
