Wow, some of those are incredible! Thanks for sharing. :)

It's not quite as architecturally impressive as many buildings on that list, but I get a warm fuzzy every time I drive past #6 (Kansas City Public Library).

I've seen the basket building before, I used to live in Ohio.

Ooooh! I hope that we someday build a library that's just as awesome as the Kansas City one!:eek2:
And..uhm..What do people do in the Basket house? Anyone know? I've got this image in my head now..if a house looks like a giant picnic-basket it has to be occupied by giant ants. But I'm guessing that it's not, really.

I saw a documentary about that basket making factory/company, that is out in the front where you enter if I am not mistaken.

I was not able to see the website (IT security at work). But I would suggest the Bacardi Building on Biscayne Blvd. in Miami. An entire side is a giant picture in those tiny tiles--God its hard getting old--I don't remember what the kind of artwork is called. But the building is spectacular--If it is still there.

Long days and Pleasant nights

The Ufa house in Taiwan looks so peaceful.
