Just finished "The Dark Half" and was wondering if it would make sense to have the books by "George Stark" made into actual books? ex: Machines Way. They would seem fit to be made.

Does it say what kind of writing or genre he wrote? I'd like to see them kind of Jack Ketchum..ish

Steve at some point, or at least that what I read, planned to write Steel Machine as Richard Bachman, dunno why he didn't do it.

That's not a bad idea. Either that, or use him as a character in another book by Mr. King. As we saw in many books - desperation, Dark Half and of course - the DT series, fictional characters seem to make reappearances on other books. I would like to find out what happened with that nut case.

Just a guess but i think the reason for this may be that Richard Bachman is "dead", altho ... stranger things than books from the dead have happened in the world of S.K :biggrin2:

Excellent question....perhaps a little help from Ms. Mod? (smiling sweetly, batting eyelashes).
I'd love to read "Steel Machine" or "Machine's Way"....

i'm half way through the dark half....I'm all for never seeing George Stark again :eek2:...do ya think SK ever felt the dual personality thing when he was writing as Bachman?

I personally don't see what all the hooplah's about in both real life and in the Dark Half with respect to the George Stark novels. What makes them so mch better than Thad's? They don't really looks that amazing from the excerpts we get.

Well, if Mr. King were to write them, which I highly doubt he will, then I guess I would read it out of sheer curiosity, but I doubt I could get into it...
