Hello Stephen King Super Readers!!!!

I know The Plant was basically an internet exclusive back in the day and it has not yet been completed. Is there any easy way to actually get a hold of whatever was out there at the time? I am assuming it was not ever put in any sort of book form or was it? Is it online someplace or not? What's the dealy-o? Yeah, I know I am bit lazy in my research but oh well that's me!

It's on this site but you'll have to answer some trivia questions correctly to "win" it. :smile2:

The questions are hidden in The Office (http://www.stephenking.com/the_office.html) section of the site.

I have a question about 'The office' quiz. How do I get past the bronze stage? If I'm supposed to figure it out myself you don't have to tell me, but I just wanted to ask to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. I couldn't login until I completed the bronze stage. Thanks for the help.

Just enter into the office, and click on stuff until you find the ten quiz items. You must answer all the questions, and then you'll be able to log in. (You will also get a prize at that level, too!) If you cannot answer all 10 questions at one sitting, you will have to start over the next time you enter the office.

I see. Thanks but like I said. I am a lazy one. LOL. I will just wait to see if he ever completes the story anyway.

I've read that portion of The Plant which was released, and I think its one of his best ever. It'd be really great if he'd finish it. And ideally published it as a regular book.

I'm having trouble d/l'ing anything, too.

Ah! I'm still on the prehistoric dial-up, I am.

The office, the plant!!! I feel like a troglodyte. I had no idea there were such things. I will check the link, but I hate reading off of the computer. It kills me. I remember reading the first chapter of Buick 8 online. I wonder at 10 cents a page, how much it would cost me to print it? Of course I have to earn it, quiz style? I suppose if I were a talented writer I would torture my fans in a similar manner. I have read every King book, but I read ALOT of other stuff. How much my brain has held?

I agree this was one of the best stories yet. I hate cliff hangers and I would love to see the story finished in whatever format.

One of my finer possessions is a front-to-back printout of the entire novel (all of what was released, that is) which I had bound in hardback by my local library bindery.

It can sit right on the shelf beside all of my other King novels, and that's a good thing, because I, too, would rather read from a book than a computer screen. (I've been meaning to brag to somebody about that for years, and I guess this is my chance!)

And it's good stuff, too; I'd love to see Mr. King take it up again someday.

I also have a paper copy of The Plant. Are we allowed to share it with others?

Yes, you can share it with others. If you plan to charge any money for it, you are entitled to sell only as many copies as you paid for.

I've been clicking on everything clickable, and could only find 8 quiz questions.

Are all 10 available to find currently? Or will we have to wait until the next phase of The Office is done?

It seems like I've clicked on everything, and am still coming up a little short.

I printed this thing out, punched holes in all the pages, and put it in a three ring binder. It took a lot of printer ink and paper. I only printed on one side of the paper too, so the binder size is as big as they come. One day I plan on trying to print it out like a regular book on both sides, but I think I have to know how to use Acrobat a little better to perform this task.

Were is the Office section? Do you mean the answers are actually written down on the MB? Or just the questions?

That's a hot link that will take you to The Office or you can go to the main portion of the site and click on the tab there (3rd one in). The answers aren't written down and the questions are hidden there.
