I was wondering if there is any information on the value of the Cardboard Stand-ups that advertise movies. I have one for Graveyard Shift. It is still in its shipping box, with the Paramount sticker on the front and the whole works.
I have some other advertising memorabilia, that I'd like to value as well. eBay does not seem to be much help.

Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction!!

I collect some movie memorabilia too, mostly original posters. I used to have an original Nightmare on Elm Street stand up, but in the end it wasn't worth that much. That's not say that your stand up isn't worth something though.

My suggestion to you is to ask a reputable dealer what it might be worth, Cinemasterpieces in Scottsdale has someone who would probably know. Their web site is www.cinemasterpieces.com, you can find their contact information there.

If you search on eBay for completed auctions (they don't come up in the regular search), you may be able to get more information, including, of course, the final bid.

Yeah, I've done the eBay thang, but I don't turn up much. It doesn't help that I don't know what they are officially called; I just call them cardboard stand-ups. There has to be a better name than that!!

I'll try that Cinemasterpieces though!!
