Alright, I'm going to sound like a bonehead, just like when I asked the question about Slightman Jr or Sr (I wish I had the concordance!)
When I first read On Writing, I remember King discussing how reading and writing were like a form of telepathy. I've been searching through the book again but for the life of me I can't find where it is.
Does anyone remember the general vicinity of that argument? Beginning, middle, end of the book???
Thanks!!!

Hi,
Sorry, can't remember, and I've given away my sixth copy of On Writing so I can't look it up.
But try Amazon for Robin Furth's Concordance - can't recommend it highly enough!

Sorry, I don't even have the book in front of me, but I'm going to get one and reread it and look for that essay somewhere between pages 95 and 103, because it sounds very interesting. Get back to you Tk.
