I'm sure this has already been answered by now, so Mod please delete if this is a redundant post.

'Wizard and Glass' is Dark Tower #4 and is a single volume. (Hell, I may be wrong about the number--I loan out everything I buy--but it is a single book.)

It is my favorite of the series, but I did and still do hate the title.

I have all 7 of the novels in that series. Wizard and Glass came out in several diff additions. Some had pictures, some didn't. I like the pictures best.

There is an illustrated edition as well as one without so which version you buy is a matter of personal taste but you'll get the same story with or without the illustrations. :smile2:

Wizard and Glass is the 4th book in the Dark Tower series, you need to read The Gunslinger, Drawing of the Three and Wastelands before truly understanding the 4th.

I thought I read somewhere that when Wizard and Glass was first released (perhaps the limited edition Grant version) it was in two seperate volumes. The mass market hard and soft covers came out as one volume though.

I loved that story, it is one of my most favorite.

That's funny, out of the seven books, Wizard and Glass is the one I liked the least.

I thought it was an incredible love story.

I recommend getting the editions that have the illustrations also. A couple of the books, I bought without the illustrations and I regretted it.

Anyone else think that Rhea may be one of the Little Sisters?

She drinks Cordelia's blood to replenish her. She dreams of roses. The Sisters have roses on their little nursey hats.
I pictured the Sisters witch like. All but sister Jenna that is.

I'm probably just stretching it too far again. lol

I read Wizard And Glass before reading the rest of the Dark tower Series and am glad I did as I found it gave some back story about Roland.
