I couldn't find this anywhere, so I thought I'd go ahead and ask it. I want to read Rage, and the only place I can find it is in the Bachman books with The Long Walk, etc. I thought I had it in paperback, but I don't. I found it in hardcover online for what I think is a reasonable price-$24.95. What do you all think? I also found it in worse condition for $76 and in better condition for $230.

Yeah, that seems reasonable, considering I believe rage is out of print due to content. Plus the long walk and the running man are great stories. I'm not a big fan of rage, but man is the measure.

I found paper back for $15 on barnesandnoble.com. Go to used and out of print books. Type in Rage and Stephen King and it will give you all the options.

Hi,

If it's just the story you want to read, you'll find it in a secondhand paperback for a small fraction of the prices you quote.

If, on the other hand, you're a collector then I wouldn't know about the price.

Long days and pleasant nights

Hi and welcome:smile2:.

I believe my copy of the Bachman books cost me around £1.50 in a charity shop, could you maybe have a look in these places for a copy? $24.95 sounds like a reasonable asking price for a hardback copy however. IMO the Bachman books are definitely worth purchasing but how much you are willing to spend is a personal choice...good luck.

Check on Amazon, ebay and half dot com. :) You can find it cheaper. Also check local bookstores or sometimes places like Good Will and Salvation Army have King books and sometimes at garage sales. I found my paperback Bachman Books at a local bookstore for $1.00! Check around! Good luck!

Thanks everyone. I did find a paperback copy for $6, but I am collecting all of SK's novels in hardcover. I have thought about scouring the used bookstores in my area as well as online sources. I will get this book, it's just a matter of when and where I get it.

Found it in the Duty Free in London for something like 10 pounds.

I found my copy with the Bachman Books all in one in a thrift store. It is one of my favorite places to get King books because you get them for 1.00

If it would help anyone out, I found me a copy of the Bachman Books at www.swaptree.com.

It's a site where for as little as the cost of a shipping fee, you can send out a book in the mail and receive a book back. I'd check it out, it only took me a few days get my copy. :smile2:
