If you could have a door with your name on it (like the one's in the novels), what place or time would you like to be after going through the door?
This is what my door would look like: It would say "THE GAMER" and it would take me to the Electronic Entertainment Expo each year (it's a video game convention, such a geek I am...).

Mine would say THE HORSE WHISPERER because I've always wanted to get to know horses better. I still would eventually like to have a place to live with horses like my dad has. I only get there once a year and I never want to leave. It's more romantic idea than real life 'cause I know my dad works hard for those animals.

Hi,
Mine would say "ETERNITY".
It would open up on a big white glass stadium where I would have a large desk so that I could write my stories forever in peace, and a crowd full of readers in the seats around me. They would read my stories and praise me, or critique me... who knows?
Ah, but dreams have a way of backfiring onto you, don't they?
Imagine if all those fans were Koontz fans... then I would listen to their advice and write like him... OH THE HORROR! :eek2:

"Libra"
In this world it would be just like mine except more balanced and it would have more love and romance.

The Artist/Reader: A door in which i could sit in a constant 74 degree weather , sun shining , birds , finches, hummers, robins, etc. flying around, lots of flowers and a nice conformable seat with a cushion, a cup of tea that never drains (a handy previe near by, because of too much tea of course!) and lots of really interesting good books, and soft music. Not really asking to much eh!:biggrin2:

Hi,
ATLANTIS
And it would take me back to Atlantis before the explosion of the volcano Thera at Santorini blew Atlantis out of history and into myth.
I've lived for a while on the island of Crete, in the Aegean Sea, and absorbed a lot of Minoan and post-Minoan culture there (which was prevalent in Atlantis), from the palaces of Cnossus and Malia and the splendid museum at Heraklion (many different sp's but all mean 'Hercule's City'), but mostly from just hanging out and drinking with the locals.
Wonderful people, and I just KNOW I would have loved Atlantis.

It would say "WAFFLES" and lead me into a room filled with yummy, delicious waffles...
I really shouldn't post on topics like this when I'm hungry.

Mine would say Quiet
And it would take me to a room without noise with a big comfy chaise lounge chair and a nice velux blanket and all the iced tea I could drink and a little plate with dark chocolates and exotic fruits. Any book I was reading could go through the door with me and I would read until my eyes fall out without the noise of 3 kids, my husband and my housemates. And it would always be CLEAN. I would never have to clean it.
Ah, so sweet!

Mine would say GRAN.
It would take me back to a time before my Gran died so I could ask her all the questions I never got round to asking (and there are a few!), and so I could tell her how good my life turned out and how great her Grandchildren are.
Miss you Gran x

THE KID AT HEART
And take me back to Bel Air Elementary School in Maryland playing kickball during recess with my fifth grade friends. Hopefully I'd morph back into a fifth grader myself or someone might think unkindly of me...
