I just finished Cell, and thought it was great all the way to the end. The ending kinda let me down a little. I am about to start Everythings Eventual. Can anyone tell me their thoughts on this book. Likes, Dislikes??

EE is, as far as memory serves, all good, IMO. For me, it's better all round than JAS - though I'm likely to get crucified for that. Not literally of course...well, hopefully not literally...

As for Cell...I know what you mean about the ending, but it's hard to know how else it could have ended. Everything was never going to go 'back to how it was before', because it just wouldn't if it were to happen for real, and fiction has to reflect that. By the same token, the future would be unknown. There is the possibility of a sequel, but that would require a lot of thought and given the way SK writes, that 'future world' may have remained unclear in his mind. It may still, who knows? (well, he does, but...)

So yeah, EE = good choice to chase Cell with, I think. As I say, it's all good.

I enjoyed Everything's Eventual. The Man in the Black Suit is a classic - one of his best short stories IMO. I also enjoyed The Road Virus Heads North for a nice creep factor.

There are a couple of DT-related stories as well. Not absolutely necessary that you've read DT already, but you might enjoy them more if you have. They are Everything's Eventual and The Little Sisters of Eluria.

Enjoy EE! It's a good collection.

'Everything's Eventual' is my favorite King Short compilation, and I was happy to take another look into DT with one of the stories.

I kinda dug the end of 'Cell." I like when I get to make my own conclusions, but that's just my bag, mon frere!

I enjoyed Everything's Eventual for the most part. I particularly liked 1408 and Riding the Bullet (coincidence that they were both made into movies).

I completely agree! Cell rocked, and one of the reasons why was that it wasn't wrapped up with a bow at the end. I know alot of people have issues with Cell, but I, as a zombie nut, loved it! Everything's Eventual is awesome I think my fav in it was The Road Virus Heads North..... creepy!
