It is still in production. I just got the signed tip sheets on Friday from Glenn Chadbourne and Steve will now have to sign them. Once he does and we get them back to Cemetery Dance, it will be up to them as to when the books are bound are ready to ship.

I ordered this book a long time ago. I love Cemetery Dance and the people who run it. They have been wonderful people to me and I have never ever had any problems when I needed help.
They have had delays, but I think they are trying to get that back on track and I hope you will have patience and hang in there with them. I understand that can be frustrating, but, sometimes we don't always know the whole picture on the behind the scenes work involved to bring quality work to consumers.
I have ordered many, many items from them and they have all been first-class products, and again, the people a real joy to work with. They care about what they do; and they believe in customer service.

Does anyone have any updates on this other than Cemetary Dance Publications website info, which is actually nothing except "its coming soon". They've had my money for almost two years now. Last time I'll do that I'm afraid.

I too have loved everything from Cemetery Dance. But, you think you've been waiting long - how about 11 years! Still waiting for Legacies since 1998. I'm sure it will be great, CD even has photos for some of the signature sheets on the website. Hoping soon, soon, soon. Sorry, hope I have not cruelly tempted someone - Legacies has been "sold out" for 11 years too.

I was just wondering the other day if that book had ever been published or not. I can't imagine waiting this long for something from Cemetary Dance tho. I've always had wonderful service from them when I've done business with them. My only complaint is it always seems that AFTER I order something, they send out an email within a few days that says I could've saved x amount of dollars or gotten a coupon with my order to use on a future order, something along those lines. Tends to get frustrating. But, they are a great company, they've done me right a couple of times over the years and their books are wonderful, production-wise!

I pre-ordered this too. Last I heard (from CDance) it was going to come out late in the year, around the Holidays (which probably means early in 2010), but if Miss Mod says the sig sheets arrived at the Office, then once SK signs them (Just HOW does he have time to sign all of those limited edition sig sheets anyway?) and sends them back to CDance, maybe they'll put a rush on the book and get it to us sooner??

I was able to get a proof of the CD Legacies. It has a publication date (and a copyright date) of 2000. Nine years ago! I did NOT order the book itself. I seriously doubt the edition will ever be published after this long period.
I was one of the first to pre-order Secretary of Dreams II back on July 20, 2007. I'm hoping it'll come out before the end of the year, but it seems that CD keeps stating that new illustrations are being done. How about just publishing the book?

I pre-ordered the first one, although, it turned out to be unnecessary. They had piles of them available when the book actually became available. Cemetery Dance also has an e-Bay store where they were selling the books also - same price.
My order got screwed up, but the folks were quite pleasant to deal with and made everything right again. I just don't think it's necessary to pre-order.

The only reason to pre-order from Cemetary Dance is if you want a specific signed numbered edition. That's the ONLY reason I pre-ordered Secretary of Dreams II--so that I would get the same number as my SOD I. Very often you can get the "trade" editions (not the signed numbered/lettered editions) off secondary sources (such as eBay) for less than the list price of the book.

Ms Mod, is there any news about this? These delays are very common when talking about Cemetery Dance...

Secretary of Dreams Vol 2 I am looking for any news on publication of this book. Will it be released before the end of this year? Thanks in advance for any information. :)

Sorry, I don't have that information. You'd have to contact Cemetery Dance for updates as that is completely within their control.

I've been waiting years as well for the lettered editions of both SOD I & II. When my inquiries are actually answered, it is usually some new 'Lie' about how they will be out shortly. I've had that same response for the past few years now. I was even told last December with regards to SOD I Lettered: "I assure you that you’ll get this title in the beginning of 2009"
I have since canceled all other King related book orders with CD. Unfortunately, the lettered editions that I purchased were Mindy's personal PC copies (which don't even exist) and she no longer has the money to refund me. I am currently out $3100. BUYERS BEWARE. I know DOZENS of people that have canceled orders with them now.
Sorry for the rant but quite upset over the situation.
